UPDATE: Solano County Transit (SolTrans) has just announced urgent changes to its holiday service schedule, impacting riders throughout the region. Effective immediately, all Local, Solano Express, and Paratransit services will NOT operate on Christmas Day, December 25, and New Year’s Day, January 1.
Riders are encouraged to plan ahead as the agency implements Saturday schedules on Christmas Eve, December 24, and New Year’s Eve, December 31. Critical routes including local school tripper routes 15, 17, 38, and the Solano Express Green Line and Route 82 will not be operational on these days.
Following the holiday, beginning on Sunday, January 4, SolTrans will introduce minor adjustments to select Local and Solano Express routes. Notably, the agency will discontinue onboard paper transfers, urging riders to utilize the Clipper card for all transfer discounts.
In a statement, Executive Director Beth Kranda expressed gratitude to riders for their continued support. “As we wrap up another year of service, I want to sincerely thank our riders for choosing SolTrans and for being such an important part of our community,” Kranda said. “We are deeply grateful for your patience, feedback, and continued trust as we complete our Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA), an important, rider-driven effort that is shaping a systemwide redesign focused on more reliable, efficient, and accessible service.”
