URGENT UPDATE: The highly anticipated horror film Him will be available for digital purchase and rental starting tomorrow, October 7, 2025, just weeks after its theatrical debut. Fans of the genre can now enjoy this chilling tale from the comfort of their homes during the spooky season.
Directed by Justin Tipping, Him stars Marlon Wayans as Isaiah White, a fictional NFL quarterback who guides a young player named Cam, portrayed by Tyriq Withers. The film delves into the disturbing world of intense training, bloodshed, and bizarre cult-like rituals. Despite its intriguing premise, the film has struggled at the box office, garnering only $25.2 million worldwide against its estimated production budget of $27 million.
For horror enthusiasts eager to watch Him, the film will be available on platforms such as Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Fandango At Home from 12 a.m. Eastern Time on October 7. Prices vary by platform, with Amazon Prime offering the film for $24.99 to buy and $19.99 to rent, providing viewers with a 48-hour window to watch after pressing play.
As the film makes its transition to digital, it will also be released on DVD, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray on November 11, 2025, featuring bonus content including an alternate ending and director’s commentary.
While Him is not currently streaming on subscription services, it is expected to be available on Peacock soon, as Universal Pictures, the film’s distributor, owns the platform. Previous Universal titles have typically made their way to Peacock within a couple of months post-release. If Him follows this pattern, viewers might expect to see it streaming by mid-to-late November 2025.
Moreover, the film will eventually be available to stream for free on Amazon Prime Video approximately four months after its Peacock debut, as part of a deal between Universal and Amazon. If our projections hold, Him could be ready for Prime subscribers around April 2026.
With its striking narrative and a cast that includes Julia Fox and Tim Heidecker, Him has the potential to find a dedicated audience during its digital release. Don’t miss your chance to watch this gripping horror story—mark your calendars for tomorrow!
