Moxies Expands Summer Menu with Fresh Cocktails and Classic Desserts

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 03, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — As summer patio season hits its stride, Moxies is unveiling a tantalizing second wave of seasonal menu items designed to refresh and delight diners. Starting today, patrons can indulge in two innovative cocktails alongside the much-anticipated return of a beloved dessert. Each offering is crafted with quality ingredients, promising to enhance any summer gathering.

“Summer is a favourite time of year for many Canadians, and we wanted to give even more reasons to enjoy it, which is why we decided to roll out a second wave of summer menu items,” said Joanne Forrester, President and Chief Operating Officer of Moxies. “This lineup of fresh offerings invites guests to come back to Moxies and try something new. Each item embodies the essence of summer and inspires those spontaneous moments that will have everyone saying, ‘meet me at Moxies.’”

New Cocktails Inspired by Global Flavors

Taking inspiration from vibrant Mexican cocktails, the new “Pinky Promise” cocktail offers a lower-alcohol option featuring Ketel One Vodka, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, guava, lemon, and soda, all elegantly garnished with an edible orchid. This cocktail marks the first creation from Moxies’ Tastemakers program, an innovative initiative that involves guests in the menu development process.

In addition, “Talk Flirty to Me” puts a fresh spin on the classic Pornstar Martini. This bright, sparkling drink combines Absolut Vodka, passion fruit, and house-made vanilla syrup, served with a side of Santa Margherita Prosecco, promising a lively and refreshing experience.

The Return of a Fan-Favorite Dessert

Making a triumphant return is the iconic Churro Ice Cream Sandwich. Crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Kenta Takahashi of Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar, a three-time winner of Canada’s Best Pastry Chef, this dessert is a firm guest favorite. It features cinnamon sugar-dusted house-made churros encasing vanilla bean ice cream, offering a perfect blend of crisp and creamy textures.

These exciting July additions are part of a broader summer menu that debuted earlier in the season. Available until September 8, these offerings can be enjoyed at all Moxies locations across Canada.

As dining preferences evolve, Moxies’ approach to engaging with its patrons through programs like Tastemakers could set a precedent for other establishments looking to deepen customer engagement and diversify their offerings.
