BREAKING: Disneyland is set to launch a highly anticipated stage event featuring Bluey and her sister Bingo, starting March 22, 2024. This exciting announcement comes as part of the park’s ongoing 70th anniversary celebrations, which will extend through August of next year.
The new experience, titled “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!,” will transform the Fantasyland Theatre into the vibrant setting of Bluey’s school. Guests can expect engaging musical performances, games, and beloved characters from the hit Australian animated series. This stage event will invite audiences to interact with Bluey, Bingo, and a lively cast of actors, musicians, and comedians throughout the day.
In addition to the Bluey excitement, Disneyland has unveiled a $50-per-day kid ticket deal for children ages 3 to 9. This offer will be available starting January 21, 2024, for visits from May 22 to September 7, 2024. Families can purchase a one-day park-hopper ticket, with options to add extra days and line-skipping features.
But that’s not all! Disneyland is also revamping some of its key attractions. The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will receive a new mission on May 22, 2024, coinciding with the upcoming release of “The Mandalorian and Grogu.” This update promises additional levels of interactivity, allowing guests to engage with characters and explore new locations from the Star Wars universe.
Meanwhile, fans of the classic Soarin’ attraction can look forward to a makeover as “Soarin’ Around the World” transitions to “Soarin’ Across America” starting July 2, 2026. This change is timed with the 250th anniversary of the United States and will showcase stunning American landscapes.
However, not all news is celebratory. Disneyland has announced that the popular “Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!” attraction will close in early 2026 to make way for an upcoming “Avatar” ride. While the exact closing date remains uncertain, this change signals a significant shift in the park’s offerings.
Disneyland After Dark events will also return, including the nostalgic 70 Years of Favorites party on March 3 and March 5, 2024. Tickets for these special events go on sale to the public on December 11, 2023, and are expected to sell out quickly.
As for seasonal festivities, Disneyland will celebrate Lunar New Year from January 23 to February 22, 2024, featuring unique food and character interactions. Following this, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will run from March 6 to April 27, 2024, offering culinary delights and experiences.
Disneyland continues to evolve, bringing fresh experiences and memorable moments to guests. With the addition of Bluey and various ticket deals, now is the perfect time for families to plan their visit. Stay tuned for more updates on all the exciting changes coming to Disneyland in the near future!
