Molly Wilson, a junior at Cullman High School, has been named The Times’ Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performances on the basketball court last week. In a series of impressive games, Wilson scored a total of 80 points over three matches, leading the Bearcats to critical victories.
Wilson showcased her scoring ability against Ardmore, where she registered 38 points, with an impressive 30 points coming in just the first half. She continued her scoring streak with 27 points against Oak Mountain and added 15 points in a decisive win against Jasper. This final performance was pivotal in securing the Class 6A, Area 13 regular season title for the Bearcats.
Beyond her scoring, Wilson contributed significantly on the defensive end, pulling down multiple rebounds and providing strong defensive support. Her all-around game has been a vital part of the team’s success as they look to build on their momentum.

- Elijah Roberts from Addison, who scored 19 points against Oakman and 16 points against Meek.
