Comerica Park’s Priority Club Opens July 24 with Gourmet Fare

URGENT UPDATE: The highly anticipated Priority Club at Comerica Park is set to open on July 24, just in time for the next home game. This exclusive, member-only venue promises a transformative dining experience with gourmet food and craft cocktails, elevating the game day atmosphere for fans.

Located beneath the lower-level seating, the 13,000-square-foot Priority Club offers an all-inclusive space for food and drink, complete with climate-controlled seating. Fans will enter through a private street entrance, descending to the club that features a live kitchen and a diverse menu. Expect to indulge in dishes like Tomahawk steaks, lobster rolls, and Oysters Rockefeller, all crafted by Mark Szubeczak, executive chef at Comerica Park for Delaware North Sportservice.

The opening of the Priority Club marks a significant milestone for the Detroit Tigers, following a substantial investment of over $160 million in the park’s facilities. “We heard a lot from our fans that they wanted an area that was high end,” said Ryan Gustafson, Ilitch Sports + Entertainment President and CEO. “They want to entertain clients, they wanted to entertain employees.”

Inside, fans can enjoy high-top seating surrounded by live cooking stations, offering everything from sushi to traditional ballpark fare like hot dogs and peanuts. A large bar with a quartz countertop serves premium spirits and innovative cocktails, including the new bourbon-based Batting Tiger.

The Priority Club is designed for 350 premium ticketholders, with plans to expand by offering an additional 120 seats. Ticket prices start at $350, providing an all-inclusive experience from parking to dining, allowing fans to leave their wallets behind.

“This is not just a place to eat; it’s also a great place for networking,” said Spencer Ambrosius, Ilitch Sports + Entertainment senior vice president of ticket sales and services.

Fans can expect rotating menu items throughout the season, ensuring fresh flavors and variety with each visit. As the opening date approaches, excitement is building for what promises to be a game-changing addition to the Tigers’ home experience.
