EZVIZ Introduces Wild Animal Detection to Enhance Home Security

Homeowners looking to enhance their security can now benefit from a new feature offered by EZVIZ, a prominent manufacturer of smart home security cameras. The recently introduced Wild Animal Detection feature enables EZVIZ cameras to recognize the shapes of over 20 different animal species, including bears, snakes, and coyotes. This innovation is designed to provide real-time alerts and recordings to users, ensuring they remain informed about any wildlife activity near their properties.

The Wild Animal Detection feature addresses a growing concern for those living in rural areas or regions where wildlife may pose a threat. The ability to detect animals and receive immediate notifications can be vital for homeowners with pets, as it helps safeguard them from potential dangers. For example, if a bear enters the yard, the system will alert the homeowner and allow them to monitor the situation from a safe distance.

EZVIZ employs advanced AI technology to minimize unnecessary notifications, ensuring users are only alerted when significant animal activity occurs. This feature not only aids in protecting pets and children but also helps maintain gardens and outdoor spaces. Homeowners can easily identify which creatures are causing disturbances, allowing them to take preventive measures to preserve their landscaping.

How to Activate Wild Animal Detection

Setting up the Wild Animal Detection feature on an EZVIZ camera is straightforward. Users can open the EZVIZ App, select their camera, and tap the gear icon located at the top right of the live video feed. From there, they should navigate to the Intelligent Detection menu, where the Wild Animal Detection mode is available alongside other options like PIR Infrared and Human Shape Detection.

Once activated, homeowners can configure the camera to record or send notifications only when relevant wildlife is detected. The settings can be adjusted remotely, providing flexibility and peace of mind for users, regardless of their location.

The Wild Animal Detection feature will first be available with the launch of the new EB8 Pro 4G model, set to debut in March 2024. For additional information and updates, interested individuals can visit the EZVIZ website.

As the demand for smart home technology continues to rise, innovations like those from EZVIZ highlight the importance of comprehensive security solutions that account for both human and animal interactions.
