Frances P. Morse, affectionately known as “Francie,” passed away on March 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She entered into eternal rest with a deep faith in the promises of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her passing marks a significant loss for her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A Life of Service and Creativity
After earning her master’s degree in social work, Frances dedicated her life to counseling individuals in distress. Her calling allowed her to make a meaningful impact in her community, providing guidance and support during challenging times. Frances was not only a counselor but also a passionate writer, having authored two books and created numerous short stories that reflected her rich imagination and experiences.
In addition to her work in social services, Frances had a keen interest in investment management, showcasing her diverse talents and ambition. She enjoyed traveling, which allowed her to explore various cultures and create lasting memories. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, nurturing relationships that spanned generations.
Remembering a Loving Family Member
Frances is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Morse, and their three children: Christopher Morse (Jacqueline), Andrew Morse (Jillian), and Jessica Pilson (Jeffery). She was a cherished grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Brandon, Elise, Peyton, Madelyn, Jackson, Caleb, and Cecilia. Her siblings, Rachel, Judith, and Brian, also mourn her loss.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Frances’s life at Williamsburg Community Chapel on Friday, March 27, at 11:00 AM. The service will provide an opportunity for attendees to share fond memories and express their condolences.
