Community Mourns the Loss of Kenneth Grady, 82, Beloved Family Man

Kenneth Eugene Grady, a cherished family member and friend, passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on December 21, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Kenneth and Catherine Grady. His legacy will be remembered fondly for his kindness, sense of humor, and the love he shared with those around him.

In addition to his wife, Carol Morse Grady, Ken is survived by his children: Ken Grady (Lisa), Brigitte DeLeon (Steve), Cindy Stieber (Rick), and Mike O’Haire. He is also mourned by his sister Kathy Wright, brother-in-law and best friend Rich Wright, brothers Bob Grady (Lori) and Dan Grady (Shari), as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Ken’s passing follows the earlier loss of his son, Matthew Grady, and his sister, Peggy. He played a pivotal role in the lives of his family, often described as the heart of the family unit. His warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As the community reflects on his life, many are remembering the values he instilled in his family and the joy he brought to gatherings. Friends and relatives are encouraged to honor his memory by sharing stories and celebrating the impact he had on their lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting a tree or sending meals as a tribute to Ken’s nurturing spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to resonate with those he touched.
