David T. Leh, a cherished member of the Furlong, Pennsylvania community, passed away on August 22, 2025. He was 83 years old and would have celebrated his 84th birthday on September 1. His legacy endures through his beloved wife, Nancy M. (Livengood) Leh, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage filled with family and fond memories.
Born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, David was the son of the late R. Elwood (Woody) and Mildred Thomas Leh. He was one of two sons and held a significant academic background, having graduated from both the University of Maryland and Ursinus College. David earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering alongside a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, paving the way for a successful career in the technology sector. Over a span of 40 years, he held management positions with several major computer networking firms.
During his earlier years in upstate New York, David developed a strong passion for snowmobiling, not only enjoying rides but also undertaking the maintenance of the machines himself. His love for outdoor activities extended to golf, where he was an active member of various leagues. He took pleasure in organizing memorable golf trips to locations such as New York, West Virginia, and Myrtle Beach.
David’s family was a central part of his life. In addition to Nancy, he is survived by his brother, Dennis Leh, and his wife, Columbia, along with their family. David’s legacy is further carried on by his three sons and their spouses: David Leh and his wife Christine, Jeffrey Leh and his wife Betty, and Robert Leh and his wife Michelle. His ten grandchildren, including Elizabeth, David, and Maggie Leh, as well as Taylor Davies (and husband, Zachary Davies), Joshua and Zachary Leh, and Michael, Ashlynn, and Gavin Leh (and wife, Angela Leh), and Tiana Leh, will greatly miss him. David was also looking forward to the arrival of his first great-grandson, expected soon to join the family.
Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home in New Britain, Pennsylvania, on the evening of August 28, 2025, from 18:00 to 20:00. A tribute honoring David’s life will take place the following day, August 29, starting at 10:00 at the same location. Following the tribute, interment will occur at Highland Memorial Park, located at 701 Farmington Avenue, Pottstown, PA 19464.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in David’s name to the Bucks County SPCA, PO Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931. His contributions to the community and the lives he touched will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
