The American Cancer Society is set to host a “Fork Cancer” event on August 8 at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This gathering, which runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with VIP access starting an hour earlier, aims to raise funds for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, the advocacy branch of the organization.
Guests at the event will enjoy a selection of small plates, wines, craft cocktails, and beers provided by some of Utah’s most popular restaurants. Participating establishments include STK Steakhouse, Benihana, Salt Lake Brewing Co, Dolcetti Gelato, Sobe Eats, Graze Charcutterie Bar, and Laurel Brasserie. In addition to the culinary offerings, attendees can look forward to live entertainment featuring music and comedy acts.
Tickets for the general admission are priced at $99, while VIP packages are also available. The VIP experience includes early entry, exclusive access to customizable swag, and priority access to all food and beverage partners. Attendees can also participate in a silent auction, which features prizes such as hotel stays, restaurant gift cards, and event tickets.
The event will be emceed by Deena Marie Manzanares, a familiar face in the local community.
