Renee (Wojcik) Nichols, a cherished member of her community, passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 55. A resident of Hudson, New Hampshire, she was known for her vibrant personality and deep connections with family and friends. Born on September 2, 1970, Renee was the beloved daughter of Elaine M. Wojcik (Fontaine) and Richard Wojcik, and the devoted sister of Michelle A. Wojcik, who resides in Boston and Provincetown, Massachusetts.
Renee’s educational journey began at Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, and continued at St. Michael’s College in Vermont. She earned an MBA from George State University, which set the foundation for her successful career in hospitality. In 1995, Renee played a key role in launching two popular nightclubs in Washington, D.C. Her adventurous spirit eventually led her to Atlanta, where she met her husband, Bradford Nichols. The couple married in 2004 and welcomed their first son, Hudson Nichols, in 2005.
In June 2007, the family relocated to New Hampshire to be closer to Renee’s family. Shortly thereafter, they celebrated the birth of their second child, Miller Nichols, in September 2007. As a mother, Renee found immense joy in nurturing her sons, who attended Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua. She was their most enthusiastic supporter, attending every game and school event. To honor her memory, the Bishop Guertin football team will wear her initials on their helmets for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Renee faced cancer on two occasions, demonstrating remarkable resilience and compassion throughout her battles. Her positive outlook on life inspired many. She cherished her family and maintained close relationships with her parents and sister, sharing countless joyful memories during family trips to Cape Cod and Wells, Maine.
Beyond her family life, Renee pursued her passions with fervor. She framed artwork for her sister’s establishment, Galeria Cubana, and later became a yoga instructor at The Windsoul Wellness Center in Tyngsboro. Renee was also an avid pickleball player, forging friendships on the court and in local gyms. Known for her impeccable sense of style, she enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, exploring destinations such as Italy, Switzerland, and Portugal.
Renee leaves behind not only her immediate family but also a network of close aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends who will deeply miss her. A Celebration of Life will take place at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions in her name to several charities, including Boston Children’s Hospital, Wells Mountain Initiative, and the Hudson Community Food Pantry in New Hampshire.
Her legacy of love, compassion, and adventure will continue to inspire those who knew her.
