After reflecting on his performance in earlier games, Lendeborg stated, “I didn’t come here to be a role player. I came here to be the man.” He demonstrated this mindset by scoring 18 points in the second half, showcasing his potential to lead the team. “I feel like today I took a step in that direction,” Lendeborg added.
Throughout the game, Lendeborg was efficient, making all seven shots inside the arc and converting all five free throws. He also contributed significantly on defense with 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block. Coach Dusty May praised Lendeborg’s performance, noting that “every time we ran something for him, something good happened.”
