UniX AI has announced the upcoming launch of its next-generation humanoid robots, Wanda 2.0 and Wanda 3.0, designed specifically for real-world service applications. These full-size humanoid robots will be unveiled at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, marking a significant step towards operational deployment beyond controlled demonstrations. The company aims to enhance the reliability and adaptability of humanoid robots in diverse environments, where consistent performance is crucial.
Wanda 2.0 features an impressive array of technology, including 23 high-degree-of-freedom joints and an 8-DoF bionic arm equipped with adaptive intelligent grippers. This configuration enables the robot to perform complex tasks that require dexterous manipulation and autonomous perception. According to UniX AI, the Wanda series is designed to function as general-purpose service systems capable of learning workflows and adapting to new routines across various contexts.
Focus on Practical Applications
UniX AI plans to demonstrate the capabilities of Wanda 2.0 and Wanda 3.0 through practical service tasks during CES 2026. These demonstrations will showcase the robots performing operations such as drink preparation, dishwashing, clothes organization, bed-making, and waste sorting. One of the highlighted scenarios involves Wanda 2.0 preparing non-alcoholic beverages ordered via an app, showcasing its ability to identify barware and pour liquids accurately.
The robots are powered by UniX AI’s proprietary technology stack, which includes multimodal semantic keypoints, UniFlex for imitation learning, UniTouch for tactile perception, and UniCortex for long-sequence task planning. This architecture allows the robots to autonomously perceive their surroundings and execute multi-step actions without requiring extensive reprogramming.
Shifting Towards Commercial Viability
Fengyu Yang, Founder and CEO of UniX AI, emphasized the shift in the embodied AI industry, stating, “The embodied AI industry is moving from the demonstration stage toward the validation and scale-up stage.” He highlighted the importance of integrating algorithmic capabilities with hardware and real-world applications. UniX AI aims to advance its product offerings and expand on a global scale, with mass production slated for 2025.
The company reports a stable delivery capacity of 100 units per month, with plans to deploy the Wanda series across various sectors, including hotels, property management, security, retail, and education. By focusing on large-scale service scenarios rather than speculative applications, UniX AI positions its robots for meaningful deployment, indicating a significant evolution in humanoid robotics.
