HARRISBURG, PA — A remarkable achievement has been made by a 14-year-old singer from Schuylkill County, who will perform the National Anthem at the 2026 Pennsylvania Farm Show. Carly Green of Tamaqua emerged victorious in the statewide “Oh, Say Can You Sing?” contest, winning fan voting and securing her spot at the event’s Opening Ceremony.
Green received the most social media votes among finalists, as confirmed by Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding. She will take the stage on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. during the 110th Pennsylvania Farm Show. This year, the contest attracted significant interest, with 85 qualified entries, more than double the previous year’s submissions. A panel of judges narrowed the entries down to 25 finalists, whose performances were shared online for public voting.
“The Farm Show begins with voices that remind us of who we are and what we’re growing toward,” Redding stated, emphasizing that the winners represent the diverse communities sustaining Pennsylvania agriculture. In total, 11 winners from seven counties will perform the National Anthem live throughout the show, which runs from January 10 to January 17.
