La Compagnie, the French airline known for its all-business-class service, has unveiled plans for a record number of flights to the United States during the summer of 2026. The airline will utilize a leased Boeing 757-200, marking a significant expansion in its operations, particularly during the World Cup season.
The airline’s schedule, submitted to Cirium Diio, indicates that the Boeing 757 will operate between June 5 and June 27, 2026, and again from September 2 until October 1, 2026. In total, La Compagnie plans to run approximately 54 flights on two primary routes: Paris to Newark and Milan to Newark. Notably, the route from Nice to Newark will continue to rely solely on the airline’s existing fleet of Airbus A321neos.
Details on the Boeing 757 and Flight Routes
La Compagnie’s Boeing 757, which will reportedly carry 76 seats, is expected to enhance the airline’s capacity without compromising its all-business-class model. Although not officially confirmed, it is anticipated that the airline will lease aircraft TF-FIA from Icelandair. This particular aircraft has a history dating back to its delivery to Iberia in 2000 and has been part of Icelandair’s fleet since 2007.
The scheduled flights highlight a jump in activity for La Compagnie, with a projected 63 departures from Paris and Milan to Newark in June 2026. This figure represents an increase of more than 25% from the previous year, reflecting heightened demand, particularly due to the World Cup.
The routes for the 757 will include:
– **Paris Orly to Newark**: June 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, 19, 21; September 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27
– **Milan Malpensa to Newark**: June 9, 10, 14, 17, 20, 23, 24, 26; September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
In addition to the increased flights to Newark, La Compagnie will also expand its service from Nice to Newark, planning 23 departures in June 2026, a substantial increase of 155% from the previous year.
The Impact of Increased Capacity
This move to incorporate a Boeing 757 aims to optimize the airline’s operations, allowing for more flexibility in scheduling and potentially freeing up the A321neos for additional routes. According to industry data, La Compagnie is set to offer 86 departures to North America in June 2026, marking its highest monthly offering since its inception in 2014. This represents a 5% increase over its previous record in September 2019, prior to the onset of the pandemic.
The airline’s strategy appears to align with significant events such as the Cannes Lions Festival, which may be driving the surge in demand for travel to the region.
La Compagnie has yet to respond to inquiries regarding these developments, but the anticipated introduction of the Boeing 757 marks a notable evolution for the airline, which has historically operated with a very limited fleet. The addition of this aircraft, alongside its current A321neo offerings, positions La Compagnie to better cater to the growing market for premium transatlantic travel.
