Flint’s “Movies Under the Stars” Returns for a Summer of Free Family Fun

FLINT, MI – A beloved summer tradition is making its return to Flint, as Communities First, Inc. prepares to host the 12th season of “Movies Under the Stars.” Starting in July, this free outdoor movie series will bring families together for three evenings of entertainment, food, and community bonding under the night sky on the back lawn of Flint City Hall, located at 1101 S. Saginaw St.

This year’s lineup promises to delight audiences with a selection of popular films, each preceded by a lively pre-movie party starting at 7 p.m. These gatherings will feature games, food, and prizes, creating a festive atmosphere before the films begin at dusk. While the event is free, organizers encourage advance registration at tinyurl.com/MUTSFlint2025.

We’re proud to create welcoming spaces where everyone can feel a sense of belonging right here in Flint.”

The initiative is part of Communities First’s broader commitment to providing accessible and affordable entertainment for families across Michigan. In addition to Flint, similar events are hosted in Detroit and Saginaw, furthering the organization’s mission to enrich community life through cultural engagement.
