Talbert Calvin Dunn, Jr., aged 71, passed away on October 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and family. Originally from Morehead City, North Carolina, he became a cherished member of the Hampton community after relocating in 1980. Dunn retired as a welder for Newport News Shipbuilding in 2007, where he contributed 27 years of skilled labor to the shipbuilding industry.
Dunn is survived by his wife, Letty Lou Dunn, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. He is also survived by two sons, Talbert C. Dunn III and Jason S. Dunn Sr., both of whom carry forward his spirit. The family takes comfort in the presence of his grandchildren, Ruth, Brandon, Daphne, Jason Jr., and Jessica.
As friends and family gather to honor his memory, they will receive visitors on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, located at 2609 Cunningham Drive in Hampton.
