“Living in South Jersey, I’ve seen access to care for my son diminish significantly,” she told The Trentonian. “If you take away access to this medical care, you risk forcing him to detransition, and I can’t allow that to happen.”

Governor Phil Murphy issued an executive order in 2023 safeguarding access to reproductive and gender-affirming care, but that order will expire once his term concludes.
