Several students from the Loveland area have recently been recognized for their academic excellence at various institutions. These achievements highlight the commitment and hard work of local students during the 2026 academic year.
Recognition on the Dean’s and President’s Lists
A number of students have earned spots on the dean’s and president’s lists, signifying outstanding academic performance. Notable mentions include Joey Shinkel from Berthoud, who achieved a place on the dean’s list at Berry College. Also from Berthoud, Alfredo Nevarez secured a place on the president’s list at Belhaven University, alongside Hannah Peterson of Windsor, who made the dean’s list at the same institution.
Other local students acknowledged for their academic prowess include Austin Tice of Johnstown, recognized on the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University. Additionally, Mackenzie Arnold and Ainsley Silberhorn from Windsor earned spots on the dean’s list at Belmont University. Abby Simpkins of Loveland also made the dean’s list at PennWest University.
Recognition for academic achievement continued with Reagan Bartlett of Windsor earning a place on the dean’s list at Bob Jones University, and Cameron Borchert of Johnstown achieving the same honor at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Furthermore, Isaac Nadig of Loveland, along with Joseph Bockmann and Jarrett Johnson of Windsor, were included on the dean’s honor list at Cedarville University.
Other honorees from Johnstown include Avery Pascal, recognized on the dean’s list at Columbia College, and a group from Southern New Hampshire University: Rene Prasek, Laurelanne Hardy from Loveland, and Jaime Bachman, Antonio Turrietta, and Taylor Hyde from Johnstown, all making the dean’s list. Notably, Jade Johnson, Robert Mucha, and others from Loveland were included on the president’s list at the same university.
Graduates Making Their Mark
In addition to the honors received by current students, Shawn Patrick O’Neal from Windsor has successfully earned a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This accomplishment adds to the list of achievements by students in the Loveland area, reflecting a strong commitment to higher education and personal growth.
