Community Remembers Susan Greene, Beloved Matriarch of York Town

Susan Greene, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on December 18, 2025, in York Town, Virginia. Her family and community remember her for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her loved ones.

Greene is survived by her children, Jackie Foley and her husband Ken, and Jon Greene alongside his wife Melissa. She took immense pride in her grandchildren: Carl Greene and his partner Krista, Travis Greene, Austin Greene and his partner Samantha, Nathan Greene, and Skyla Greene. Additionally, she leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Emily, Ethan, and Levi.

Legacy and Family Connections

Throughout her life, Susan Greene was a pillar of strength for her family. She was married to her husband, Maxie Greene, for an impressive 60 years until his passing. Susan’s son, Christopher Greene, also preceded her in death, further deepening the family’s sense of loss.

The Greene family has announced that private services will be held to honor Susan’s memory. They invite those wishing to pay tribute to consider supporting her legacy with flowers or by planting a living memorial in her name.
