Kim Kardashian’s Trainer Unveils 5-Minute Workout for All

Senada Greca, personal trainer to celebrity Kim Kardashian, has shared a quick, efficient five-minute workout designed for individuals looking to build muscle and burn fat. Greca, who emphasizes the importance of strength training, believes that even short sessions can lead to significant health benefits.

Strength Training: A Path to Empowerment

Greca, who began her fitness journey after struggling with low self-esteem and an eating disorder, found transformative power in exercise. “That’s when everything kind of changed,” she reflected, noting how she started to see workouts as a means of self-care rather than punishment. This shift in mindset led her to pursue a career in fitness, where she has gained more than 6 million followers on Instagram.

Over the past few years, there has been a notable increase in interest in strength training, particularly among women. Greca attributes this trend to the numerous benefits that come from lifting weights, including enhanced mood and energy levels. She advocates for strength training as a standard practice for women, stating, “I think of strength training as a standard that every woman should embrace.”

A Quick Workout You Can Do Anywhere

For those with busy schedules, Greca’s five-minute bodyweight workout is an excellent starting point. It targets all major muscle groups and requires minimal or no equipment. Participants should perform each exercise for 45 seconds, resting for 15 seconds in between. The workout includes:

  • Squats: Stand upright, bend both knees, and lower your hips while keeping your torso straight.
  • Lunges: Step forward with one foot, bending both knees to about 90 degrees before returning to the starting position.
  • Hip Thrusts: Lie on your back with feet flat, push through your heels to lift your hips, and then lower back down.
  • Superwoman: Lie face down, lift your head, shoulders, and legs off the ground using your back muscles before returning to the starting position.
  • Plank Hold: Start on all fours, keeping your body in a straight line from head to feet, and engage your core.

Repeating this circuit for five rounds can yield substantial results over time. While Greca acknowledges that five minutes alone may not transform one’s body overnight, she emphasizes the importance of consistency and gradually increasing the challenge.

Greca’s approach encourages individuals to listen to their bodies and maintain movement outside of structured workouts. “I always tell people, listen to the expert within,” she advised, reinforcing the idea that self-awareness is crucial in any fitness journey.

With her dedication to making fitness accessible, Greca continues to inspire individuals from various walks of life, proving that even brief workouts can lead to a healthier, more empowered lifestyle.
