Hennepin Health recently honored three healthcare providers for their significant contributions to Medicaid and MinnesotaCare recipients in Hennepin County. The recognition took place during an event at the health plan’s headquarters on September 17, 2023, where awards were presented for achievements in enhancing access to care, reducing disparities, and building community trust.
Celebrating Innovative Healthcare Solutions
Children’s Dental Services received accolades for its initiative of bringing dental care to downtown Minneapolis on a bi-monthly basis since 2024. This effort has created a trusted and accessible option for residents, integrated with other county services. By establishing this strategic presence, Hennepin Health aims to increase dental care utilization, which has been a notable challenge for individuals relying on Medicaid and MinnesotaCare.
Dr. Paul Olin has also made a remarkable impact in this area, accounting for over 5% of member dental visits through his collaboration with students at the University of Minnesota since 2024. His dedication to improving dental care access exemplifies the commitment of healthcare professionals to serve the community effectively.

Everyday Miracles was also recognized for its exceptional medical care services, which have led to nearly 600 visits, offering a comprehensive range of services from prenatal to postpartum care.
