On January 18, 2026, the Wyoming Valley Northeastern Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association will present a workshop led by Mark Reinhart at the East Mountain Holiday Inn in Bear Creek Township. Scheduled for 3 p.m., this session is open to all area musicians and students. Reinhart will introduce a concise methodology that combines relaxation, meditation, and pre-performance warm-up techniques, aimed at enhancing the performance skills of attendees.
Additionally, the Greater Wyoming Valley Audubon Society will host a virtual program on January 19 at 7 p.m.. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 19 will see the third annual Blankets and Broth event at the Friedman JCC, located at 613 S.J. Strauss Lane, Kingston. In Wilkes-Barre, the Wyoming Valley Chapter of The Embroiderers’ Guild of America invites the public to join their stitch-in event on January 24 from 10 a.m. to noon at Barnes and Noble Bookstore, Arena Hub Plaza. Attendees can bring their own projects or simply observe the group’s activities.
