The celebrated rock group Trans-Siberian Orchestra will bring its much-anticipated holiday show back to Mohegan Arena in Wilkes-Barre Township on November 22, 2023. This year, the performance, titled “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve: The Best of TSO & More,” promises to deliver an exciting experience for fans.
Tickets for the event will go on sale starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at ticketmaster.com and the arena box office. The orchestra will perform two shows on the same day, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This marks the return of the holiday show to the arena after a hiatus since 2019, making it a highly anticipated event for the local community.
Community Tradition and Special Offer
For the first time in several years, attendees of the evening performance will have the opportunity to receive one item signed by members of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at no additional cost. This unique interaction will add to the festive atmosphere surrounding the show.
Justin Topa, the director of marketing for Mohegan Arena, emphasized the importance of this event to the community, stating, “It’s a true community tradition.” The orchestra has been a holiday fixture in the area for over two decades, drawing fans from near and far.
Charitable Contributions
In addition to the entertainment value, this year’s event will also support a noble cause. For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Kitchen in Wilkes-Barre, helping to provide meals and services to those in need. This initiative further enhances the spirit of giving that characterizes the holiday season.
As the date approaches, excitement builds for what promises to be a memorable celebration of music and community spirit. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early, ensuring their place at this beloved holiday tradition.
