The complex occupies 9.85 acres and includes about 214,837 net rentable square feet of residential space. In a press release, District 9 Councilmember Elizabeth M. Funding sources include the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs through its 2022 4% Bond Housing Tax Credit program, tax-exempt bonds, and tax credit equity. Specifically, the development benefits from $25.6 million in tax-exempt bonds acquired by Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust and $23.3 million in tax credit equity from PNC Bank. Additionally, the City of Fort Worth contributed $1.2 million to support this critical housing project.
The involvement of the Fort Worth Housing Finance Corp. as a general partner further demonstrates the collective commitment to enhancing affordable housing availability in the region.
