Experts to Discuss Agentic AI’s Impact on Finance at Money20/20

During the upcoming Money20/20 USA conference, industry leaders will explore the transformative potential of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) in financial services. Scheduled for October 27, 2025, the session titled “An AI CFO in Everyone’s Pocket” will feature Steve Mugford, a board member at Persado and former executive at Capital One, alongside Raj Date, the founding Deputy Director of the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and Managing Partner at Fenway Summer.

Insights into Financial Transformation

As financial institutions navigate the complexities of the digital age, the session aims to address critical challenges and opportunities arising from the adoption of agentic AI. Mugford and Date will discuss essential questions such as the implications of consumers having personal AI-driven financial advisors available around the clock. They will examine how traditional marketing strategies must evolve to engage both customers and their AI counterparts effectively.

One key focus will be the adjustments required in product and pricing strategies as profit pools and balance sheets evolve. The speakers will also highlight the need for compliance and regulatory teams to adapt to the rapid changes brought about by AI technology.

“This session will delve into the disruptions that AI is creating in financial services and explore actionable strategies for organizations,” said Mugford.

The session will be moderated by Nabia Jenkins-Johnston, Principal of Strategic Partnerships at Cartography Partners, adding further expertise to the discussion.
