Character Developments and New Faces
In addition to the returning cast, Frank Grillo will reprise his role as Rick Flag Sr., a character first introduced in the 2024 series Creature Commandos. In this season, Flag Sr. is now the director of A.R.G.U.S. and is on a quest for vengeance against Peacemaker for the death of his son.
New characters will also join the mix, including Tim Meadows as A.R.G.U.S. agent Langston Fleury and Michael Rooker as Red St. Wild, an expert hunter targeting Eagly, Peacemaker’s eagle companion. Other notable appearances include Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl/Kendra Saunders, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, and Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord.
The first season of Peacemaker debuted in January 2023 as a spin-off of The Suicide Squad and became a significant part of the DCEU. James Gunn has assured fans that the second season will address the changes in continuity as the franchise transitions from the DCEU to the new DCU.
As anticipation builds for the release, fans are eager to see how the story unfolds and what new adventures await Peacemaker and his crew in the upcoming season.
