URGENT UPDATE: IndiGo Airlines has just launched new direct flights from Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, connecting passengers to nine major cities across India. This development, announced earlier today, is set to transform travel for millions in the region, including residents of Ghaziabad, Noida, East and Central Delhi, and parts of Western Uttar Pradesh.
The new routes will take travelers to key destinations such as Kolkata, Bengaluru, Varanasi, Goa, Patna, Chennai, Mumbai, Indore, and Ahmedabad. The introduction of these flights marks IndiGo as the second airline to operate at Hindon Airport, following Air India Express.
The Civil Aviation Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing aviation infrastructure across the country. During the inauguration, he stated, “We are dedicated to providing convenient services that connect smaller cities to major metropolitan areas.” This initiative aims to boost accessibility and affordability in air travel for Indian citizens.
The new flights are expected to provide significant economic benefits and greater mobility, catering to both business and leisure travelers. As air travel demand continues to surge, officials are optimistic about the positive impact this expansion will have on local economies and tourism.
Travelers are urged to check flight availability and schedules immediately, as these new direct routes are now operational. This expansion not only enhances connectivity but also reflects the growing aviation landscape in India’s National Capital Region.
Stay tuned for more updates as we monitor the early response from passengers and the impact on regional travel dynamics.
