UPDATE: Families can now embark on a magical adventure as the Room on the Broom Trail officially opens today, January 27, at Sherwood Pines, thanks to Forestry England. This enchanting experience celebrates the 25th anniversary of the beloved story by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, inviting visitors to join the Witch and her friends on an immersive journey through the forest.
Children will assist the Witch in finding her lost hat, bow, and wand, while collecting magical ingredients along the way. Each stop on this delightful trail is filled with engaging activities, fascinating forest facts, and a touch of woodland magic, making it a perfect outing for families seeking adventure and connection with nature.
For just £4, families can purchase a Room on the Broom trail pack, which includes a themed lanyard, magic spell cards, stickers, a pencil, and a craft to create their very own witchy wand.
Jess Tulberg, Visitor Experience Manager, expressed excitement about the launch: “We’re thrilled to bring the magic of Room on the Broom to Sherwood Pines. This trail is a wonderful way for families to connect with nature, enjoy a beloved story, and create unforgettable memories together.”
This magical trail promises to be a hit with young explorers, combining the joy of storytelling with the thrill of adventure in a natural setting. Families are encouraged to visit www.forestryengland.uk/room-on-the-broom for more details or to secure their trail packs.
