Michael D. Kilfoil Sr., a cherished figure in the Gorham community, passed away on October 15, 2023. He was 78 years old and leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication as a husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
A Life Well-Lived
Born in Gorham, Maine, Michael was known for his unwavering commitment to his family and his community. He spent over three decades working as a dedicated employee in the local manufacturing sector, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and leadership skills.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Jane Kilfoil, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Together, they raised three children: Michael Jr., Sarah, and David. He was also a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and a great-grandfather to two, all of whom he adored.
A Community Impacted
Michael’s passing has left a profound impact on those who knew him. Friends and family describe him as a person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He volunteered at various local charities and was an active member of the Gorham Rotary Club, where he organized events to support those in need.
