As the election approaches, candidates have been actively engaging with voters. Recent forums, such as the one held by the local chamber of commerce, have provided a platform for candidates to discuss their policies and vision for the district.

If no candidate receives at least 50 percent of the votes in the primary, a Republican runoff election is tentatively scheduled for August 12, 2025. The winner of this primary will face the Democratic candidate, Matthew Glover, during the general election on October 28, 2025.

The upcoming election is not just a routine political event; it holds significant implications for the residents of District 12. As the candidates outline their platforms and priorities, voters are encouraged to consider the issues that matter most to their community. With the election just days away, civic engagement remains high in Cullman County, reflecting the importance of this local political battle.
