The highly anticipated Netflix House at Galleria Dallas officially opens to the public on December 11, 2023, offering fans a unique opportunity to engage with their favorite shows and movies in an immersive environment. Covering over 100,000 square feet, this permanent exhibit features popular titles such as Wednesday, Squid Game, One Piece, Stranger Things, and the A Knives Out Mystery franchise through interactive experiences that bring these stories to life.
Dallas becomes the second U.S. city to host a Netflix House, following the inaugural location in Philadelphia. Before the public opening, the venue welcomed media, influencers, local celebrities, and Netflix executives for a VIP event on December 9. Notable attendees included David Harbour and Cara Buono from Stranger Things and actress Alexandra Breckenridge from Virgin River.
Visitors to Netflix House can expect an array of attractions designed for fans. The entrance features a grand staircase adorned with artwork from popular shows, creating an inviting photo opportunity. While entry to the venue is free, some experiences require a fee. The two main immersive rooms, Stranger Things: Escape the Dark and Squid Game: Survive the Trials, charge $39 per person per room. Each room provides a one-hour experience where participants can navigate the worlds of these hit shows. The Squid Game room includes five games, among them the iconic Red Light, Green Light, while the Stranger Things room sets participants on a search-and-rescue mission.
Upstairs, guests will find Netflix Bites, a dining area featuring a full bar and menu inspired by various Netflix productions. Offerings include the Red Bite and Green Bite chicken bites, along with dishes like Emily’s Italian Fling Salad, inspired by the popular series Emily in Paris, and Huntr/x Power Up Ssam, a grilled pork dish themed around K-Pop.
In addition to dining, Netflix House boasts Netflix RePLAY, a dedicated space filled with arcade games reimagined with a Netflix twist. Guests can enjoy interactive challenges such as a tug-of-war game from Squid Game, a Bridgerton-themed ball maze, and a playful version of The Floor Is Lava.
A gift shop complements the experience by selling merchandise including T-shirts, mugs, keychains, posters, and replica props from various Netflix titles.
As Netflix continues to expand its footprint in the entertainment industry, the Dallas location may soon see additional attractions. The company is reportedly nearing a potential acquisition of Warner Bros. Pictures, which could introduce characters and themes from franchises such as DC Comics and others into the venue in the coming years. This development promises to enhance the visitor experience and solidify Netflix House as a notable destination for fans.
