A confrontation in a hotel parking lot in Newark led to the arrest of a Connecticut woman on December 5, 2023. The incident unfolded around 20:00 local time when a woman allegedly pointed a rifle at three juveniles who were playing in the parking lot.
According to the Delaware State Police, the three teens were engaged in a game of football when a woman inside a parked paratransit van displayed what appeared to be a firearm. The juveniles quickly fled the scene, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
