Cris Carter, a Hall of Fame wide receiver, weighed in on this debate, stating unequivocally, “Tom Brady brought out the best in Belichick. When Brady’s not in the building with him, he is an average to below-average coach.” This remark highlights a perspective that has gained traction since Brady’s departure from the New England Patriots in 2020. Carter emphasized that while both men excelled individually, their partnership was essential for their mutual success.
