Central Lakes College Raiders Shine with All-MCAC Football Honors

The Central Lakes College Raiders have made a significant mark in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) football scene, as four of their players earned coveted spots on the All-MCAC Football First Team. Sophomore Colin Schack and freshmen Maurice Kirksey, Keyuandre Watkins, and Marquavious Thornton were recognized for their outstanding performances this season.

In addition to the first-team honors, several players from the Raiders received commendations on the second team, including Antonia Davis, Jabari Harris, Elijah Ward, Deyon Loveless, and Wayne Snowden. Honorable mentions went to Samuel Brown, Chartreal Jenkins, and Anthony Mitcheli, further highlighting the team’s depth and talent.

Recognitions and Achievements

Among these accolades, Marquavious Thornton stood out by earning a place on the MCAC Offensive Line Team of the Year. His contributions have been pivotal in helping the Raiders secure a fourth-place finish in the conference. The team’s impressive season culminated in an advancement to the semifinal round of the MCAC State Tournament, showcasing their competitive spirit and skill.

The recognition of Coach Terrence Isaac Sr. as the MCAC Coach of the Year underlines the effective leadership and strategic direction that propelled the Raiders this season. The combination of talented players and a dedicated coaching staff has positioned Central Lakes College as a formidable force in college football.
