Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton to Miss CMA Awards 2025

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton confirmed they will not attend the 2025 CMA Awards, which take place on November 19 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. According to E! News, the couple will instead watch the ceremony from home. The reason for their absence has not been disclosed.

This year, Blake Shelton received a nomination for Musical Event of the Year alongside Post Malone for their collaboration, “Pour Me a Drink.” The awards show, hosted by Lainey Wilson, has generated significant excitement, particularly as Wilson is among the leading nominees this year, representing a growing recognition of female artists in country music.

The CMA Awards are known for showcasing both established and emerging talent. This year’s event is expected to feature numerous high-profile performances and presentations, further highlighting the vibrancy of the country music scene.

Fans can catch all the festivities live on ABC, ensuring that the star-studded evening is accessible to audiences around the globe. As the country music community gathers to celebrate its achievements, the absence of Stefani and Shelton will be felt, but their continued success remains a focal point of the night.
