Wealthy Clients Rush for ‘Ski Bunny Face’ Ahead of Winter Trips

URGENT UPDATE: A surge of wealthy clients is flocking to cosmetic clinics across the United States for what is being dubbed “Ski Bunny Face” just ahead of the winter season. With ski trips on the horizon, individuals in high-profile areas like Manhattan, Beverly Hills, and Newport Beach are racing to enhance their looks before hitting the slopes.

As winter approaches, cosmetic procedures are seeing a dramatic increase. Dr. Jeffrey Lisiecki, a plastic surgeon in New York, reported that his fall bookings have more than doubled in recent years, with facelifts starting at around $40,000. He revealed, “Many of these patients mention wanting to have their procedure done and be healed for ski season.”

The trend isn’t just about surgical enhancements. Non-invasive treatments are also experiencing a significant uptick. Courtney Coons, a nurse practitioner at PERK Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, stated that Botox and Daxxify injections have surged by 40 percent from November to January. Additionally, laser treatments and photofacials have spiked by 50 percent as clients strive for smooth, flawless skin at higher altitudes.

In Newport Beach, Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva reported a staggering 60 percent increase in regenerative treatments like Sculptra and EZ-Gel. She noted a shift in client preferences: “Clients no longer want the chipmunk midface. They want lift and contour that won’t look bloated at high altitude.” Her clinic’s “Après Glow by LEA” package features ultrasound tightening and cooling therapy, designed specifically for post-procedure care.

With appointments for pre-ski glow-ups skyrocketing, Dr. Kristina Collins from Austin Skin noted a remarkable 150 percent increase in demand for her services. “Cold weather, altitude, and UV exposure can wreak havoc on skin,” she cautioned. Her advice for maintaining skin health includes layering a ceramide-rich moisturizer under SPF 50 and using antioxidant serums to protect against wind and glare.

This year, the trend reflects not just vanity but a deep-rooted desire for self-care among affluent individuals. The cost of looking good has reached astonishing levels, with some clients investing upwards of $10,000 to achieve that coveted “glow” before they even hit the slopes. The “Pre-Après package,” costing $11,723, is comparable to a luxury ski week in Aspen, but aimed solely at skin rejuvenation.

As this cosmetic craze continues to grow, one thing is clear: the slopes will be filled with expertly crafted looks that blend beauty and winter sports. This trend is not just about aesthetics; it’s becoming a social statement as affluent skiers prepare to showcase their “effortlessly flushed” faces on social media.

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story as the winter ski season approaches and affluent clients continue to prioritize their appearance on the slopes.
