UPDATE: Anna Mae Bergan-Davis, a cherished figure in her community, has passed away on November 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. This heartfelt loss has left friends and family mourning the departure of a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Cresco. This gathering will allow family and friends to celebrate her life and legacy. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 19, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Schmelzer Funeral Home (formerly Lindstrom) in Cresco, providing an opportunity for the community to pay their respects. An additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday morning.
Following the funeral, Anna Mae will be laid to rest at Orleans Cemetery in rural Ridgeway, where family members will gather to honor her memory.
