Community organizations across the Wyoming Valley are preparing for a series of events aimed at fostering connection, celebrating traditions, and raising funds for various causes. Upcoming Community Meetings and Celebrations
The Wyoming Valley St. David’s Society will hold a meeting at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, at Cris-Nics on Barney and Horton Streets in Wilkes-Barre. The agenda will include planning for the upcoming Christmas meeting and banquet, and both existing and new members are welcome to attend.
On November 16, the Northeast Region of the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania will host its annual Strike Out Epilepsy Bowl-a-Thon from 3 to 5 p.m. at Chacko’s Family Bowling on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard.
