Maimonides Health officially opened the new Maimonides Doctors Clinton Hill Pavilion on September 29, 2023, bringing a significant expansion of healthcare services to the Clinton Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn. This modern facility consolidates nearly 40 doctors across 14 specialties under one roof, showcasing a major investment in the health and well-being of the local community.
Located at the intersection of Vanderbilt and Atlantic Avenues, the Pavilion merges three existing practices: Maimonides Doctors Sunrise Medical Group, Maimonides Obstetrics and Gynecology Women’s Health, and Maimonides Multispecialty Care. The aim is to provide coordinated care in a state-of-the-art environment, which is expected to enhance patient experiences.
Ken Gibbs, the president and chief executive officer of Maimonides Health, emphasized the institution’s commitment to quality care, stating, “For more than 100 years, Maimonides has been providing state-of-the-art, person-focused health care with a strong belief that every Brooklynnite deserves access to this high-quality care.”
The Pavilion is equipped with 43 exam rooms, seven surgical exam rooms, a dedicated surgical procedure room, and facilities for OB/GYN imaging, including ultrasound and a vascular lab. Comprehensive cardiac diagnostics are also available on-site, and patients can access testing for bloodwork, strep, and COVID-19, with arrangements for more complex lab work.
Patients will find spacious waiting areas filled with natural light, private exam rooms, and a fully ADA-compliant layout. Accessibility is a priority, with convenient options for public transit and both on-street and garage parking. Additional features include one-stop scheduling for multiple appointments, a contactless check-in system, modern amenities, and a lactation room.
John Marshall, MD, executive vice president and chief medical officer of Maimonides Health, highlighted the facility’s role in raising the standard of care in the area. “With this new facility, we’re not only expanding as a health system, but we’re raising the bar for the health care available to Brooklynites, in terms of quality, experience, and convenience.”
