Concord Hospital Medical Group (CHMG) has enhanced its medical staff at the Internal Medicine – Laconia branch with the addition of two experienced providers, Dr. William Logan and Dr. Ramon Hendrik Guillen. Both physicians bring extensive backgrounds in internal medicine, which will significantly bolster primary care services in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
Dr. William Logan’s Extensive Qualifications
Dr. Logan is board-certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1992. Following his graduation, Dr. Logan completed residency training in surgery at the Mayo Clinic from 1992 to 1995 and in internal medicine at UNC Hospitals from 1995 to 1998. He later pursued a fellowship in geriatrics at Duke University from 2004 to 2006.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Logan also holds an advanced business degree from the University of Tennessee, Haslam School of Business, which he obtained in 2020. His diverse qualifications enable him to approach patient care with both medical and administrative insight.
Dr. Ramon Hendrik Guillen’s International Experience
Joining Dr. Logan is Dr. Guillen, who recently completed his residency in internal medicine at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 2025. Currently, he serves as a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School, where he teaches medical students during their rotations. Dr. Guillen received his medical degree from TU Dresden Medical School in Germany and has also participated in a visiting student program at University College London.
Dr. Guillen has made significant contributions to cardiology research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in the field of cardiovascular medicine. Fluent in English, German, and Spanish, he brings a multicultural perspective and a strong commitment to academic medicine to his new role.
According to Bill Dooley, Chief Administrative Officer of CHMG and Vice President of Operations at Concord Hospital, “Welcoming Dr. Logan and Dr. Guillen expands our ability to provide compassionate, high-quality primary care to the Lakes Region. Their combined expertise in geriatrics, internal medicine, and academic medicine will help us meet the growing needs of our community.”
This strategic addition to the medical staff at Concord Hospital is expected to enhance the quality of healthcare services available to residents in the area, addressing increasing demands for comprehensive primary care.
