UPDATE: A serious rollover incident has shut down multiple lanes on Interstate 95 in North Hampton, New Hampshire, causing major traffic disruptions this afternoon. The crash occurred at 1:50 p.m. on September 18 near mile marker 7.6, involving a 2025 Nissan Frontier pickup truck towing a 2025 Grand Design travel trailer.
According to authorities, Karen Lach, 74, from Waukesha, Wisconsin, lost control of her vehicle after the trailer began to sway. The travel trailer overturned, coming to rest on its side and blocking three southbound lanes of the interstate. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and only minor damage was inflicted on the pickup truck.
Emergency responders, including State Troopers, swiftly arrived on the scene to manage the situation and clear the wreckage. The closure lasted approximately two hours, with all lanes reopened by 3:46 p.m. today. The New Hampshire Department of Transportation and local police and fire departments assisted in the operation.
The cause of the trailer’s swaying remains under investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to reach out to Trooper Alison Baumbach for further assistance.
