Cam’ron Ends Interview with Adrien Broner After Inappropriate Remarks

Cam’ron terminated his interview with boxer Adrien Broner during an episode of “It Is What It Is” after Broner made inappropriate comments directed at Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson. The incident, which occurred on October 3, 2023, quickly gained traction on social media platforms.

During the interview, Broner made several remarks about Wilson’s appearance, stating that she looked “good in person.” Following these comments, he added, “I love you. I’m sorry. My bad y’all.” As Broner continued to make further comments, Cam’ron attempted to redirect the conversation towards football, signaling for Broner to cease his remarks. “We gonna have to actually let you go. I’m gonna pay you for your time, for being here. I appreciate you. You know I love you my n***a,” Cam’ron stated before proceeding to end the discussion.

As Broner attempted to apologize, Cam’ron reiterated, “I asked you the first time. I don’t have no problems with you, but I’ma pay you for your time. But, you can’t violate bro.” He then handed Broner an undisclosed amount of cash and asked him to leave the set.

The incident marked a notable moment in Cam’ron’s recent media engagements, as he has been involved in other controversies. He previously drew attention for his exchange with Dame Dash, co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, regarding the revival of the classic film “Paid In Full.” Dame Dash commented on social media, congratulating Cam’ron for collaborating with 50 Cent, saying, “I want to congratulate him for making 50 his new boss.”

In response, Cam’ron fired back, expressing his disapproval of Dash’s remarks. “U really turned into a chatty patty damn… tagging me every post. N***a get cut out of tv series everyday B, u be ight. U only doing this for clicks; this the most action u got in ya Chanel EVER. You welcome,” Cam’ron posted, hinting at Dash’s previous ownership of the rights to “Paid In Full,” which he lost during bankruptcy proceedings.

The abrupt conclusion of the interview with Broner serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by public figures navigating the delicate balance of entertainment and respect in their interactions. This incident continues to highlight the ongoing dynamics within the hip-hop community and the personal relationships that influence it.
