On August 30 and August 31, St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church will provide vehicle blessings during a drive-thru service. This unique offering will be available from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on August 30 and again from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on August 31, allowing participants to receive blessings without leaving their cars.
The community health and wellness fair hosted by the nurses ministry at Peace Emmanuel Baptist Church on September 13 is another significant event. Scheduled between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., this fair will include health screenings and information on mental health, cancer, and fire prevention.
