FOX Sports Unveils WAKE UP BARSTOOL Morning Show on FS1

FOX Sports has officially launched its new morning show, WAKE UP BARSTOOL, in partnership with Barstool Sports. The show debuted on September 2, 2023, and airs live on weekdays from 8:00-10:00 AM ET on FS1. This two-hour program promises to deliver Barstool’s characteristic blend of unfiltered commentary, vibrant personalities, and passionate sports discussions to audiences across the nation.

Headlined by Dave Portnoy, Dan “Big Cat” Katz, and Eric Sollenberger, known as “PFT Commenter,” WAKE UP BARSTOOL features a rotating lineup of some of Barstool’s most recognizable figures. This includes former NBA All-Star Jason Williams, along with personalities like T-Bob Hebert and Brandon Walker. Each episode aims to spark engaging conversations, share viral stories, and host candid interviews with athletes and cultural icons, all infused with Barstool’s irreverent style.

Dave Portnoy, the Owner and Founder of Barstool Sports, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “Launching WAKE UP BARSTOOL on FS1 is a huge step for us. We’ve built a community that talks about sports the way fans actually do, and now we get to do it every morning on national television. It’s Barstool, unfiltered, the way it’s meant to be.”

Dynamic Lineup and Unique Format

The format of WAKE UP BARSTOOL is designed to resonate with sports fans who appreciate a bold and original approach. Each morning, the show will feature a distinct lineup of hosts. For instance, the Monday crew will include Dave Portnoy, Jason Williams, Brandon Walker, and Rico Bosco. Tuesdays will showcase Big Cat, Nick Turani, Eddie Farrer, and T-Bob Hebert, while Wednesdays will see a combination of Brandon Walker and T-Bob Hebert.

Thursdays will introduce PFT Commenter, Mark Titus, Jersey Jerry, and T-Bob Hebert, with Fridays featuring T-Bob Hebert and a rotating cast of Barstool talent. This rotating format aims to keep the content fresh and engaging for viewers.

Mark Silverman, President and Chief Operating Officer of FOX Sports, commented on the show’s significance, stating, “WAKE UP BARSTOOL is a great addition to FS1’s daily lineup.
