On October 16, 2023, the elderly truck owner discovered their vehicle was missing after parking it at the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) in Port Angeles. Authorities were alerted when the truck was spotted traveling through Aberdeen, prompting a swift response from local deputies.
Deputies intercepted the stolen vehicle and made an alarming discovery inside: multiple items linked to a recent burglary at a business in Forks.
