Price Memorial AME Zion Church Provides Free Meals for Community

PITTSFIELD — The Price Memorial AME Zion Church is set to host free hot BBQ meals for those in need on Thursday, November 13, and Thursday, November 20, 2023. Meals will be served starting at 16:00 at the church located at 27 East Street on Park Square, with provisions available until supplies last.

In addition to these meal offerings, the church operates the Feed Thy Neighbor program, which provides grab-and-go lunches every Saturday from 11:00 to 12:00 and free breakfast on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:30. This initiative aims to support individuals and families struggling with food insecurity in the local community.

The church actively seeks donations to sustain these essential programs. Contributions can be made conveniently online through the church’s Square link: square.link/u/KMQZNnJv. The Feed Thy Neighbor program is a collaborative effort sponsored by Just Kickin’ It Bar-B-Que, Price Memorial AME Zion Church, and Dews Management Inc.

For further information regarding the meal programs or to inquire about donating, individuals may contact the church at 413-212-0130. The initiative reflects a growing commitment within the community to support those facing hunger and highlights the importance of local organizations in addressing social needs.
