Marguerite A. (Morin) Salois, affectionately known as Marge, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and dedication to family. Born on June 14, 1936, in Lowell, Massachusetts, she was the devoted wife of the late Philip Salois, who died on February 19, 2014. Their marriage, which began in 1955, flourished over nearly six decades, during which they raised five sons in a home filled with cherished memories.
Marguerite and Philip made their family home in Dracut, Massachusetts, specifically on Long Pond, where their residence became a gathering point for family celebrations. This location was not just a house, but a hub of laughter and joy, particularly during summer months when the family enjoyed swimming and water skiing together.
Marguerite Salois is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Gerry and Sharlene Salois of Tewksbury, MA; Marc and Susan Salois of Windham, NH; Paul and Carol Salois of Pelham, NH; Daniel and Kelly Salois of Pelham, NH; and David Salois and Stephanie Gonzalez of Lawrence, MA. She was also a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

In addition to her role as a dedicated mother and grandmother, Marguerite was an accomplished businesswoman. She co-founded Marge’s Gowns, a successful business she operated from her home for 12 years alongside her mother. This venture showcased her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to hard work.
During their retirement, Marguerite and Philip embraced the snowbird lifestyle, spending winters at their home in Hollywood Beach, Florida. Despite their travels, they always prioritized time with family and friends, reinforcing the importance of relationships in their lives.
Marguerite A. Salois will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her strong work ethic, and the loving environment she cultivated for generations. The community mourns the loss of a remarkable woman whose impact will resonate for years to come.
Visiting hours for Marguerite will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 08:00 to 10:00 at the Dracut Funeral Home, located at 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Following this, a Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 at St. Marguerite D’Youville, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Her interment will be private. Funeral Directors Paul A.
