The holiday shopping season has officially begun with the launch of all Spirit Christmas stores across the United States. The seasonal retailer, known for its Halloween stores, has expanded its offerings to include Christmas-themed pop-up locations. This year, the company opened a total of 30 stores primarily in the northeastern United States and the Great Lakes region.
Spirit Halloween first hinted at the return of its Christmas stores back in August. The flagship store opened on October 17, 2023, where a festive Santa Claus welcomed guests. To celebrate the launch, the first 100 customers received special discounts and festive treats. Last year, Spirit Christmas debuted with roughly eight locations, marking a significant expansion this year.
Store Locations and Holiday Offerings
According to a company spokesperson, while some locations began opening in late October, all stores are now fully operational for the holiday season, with hours set from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time. The new locations, spread across multiple states, include:

The company also announced the availability of photo opportunities with Santa Claus at select locations, starting from November 21, 2023. Families can book slots for these photo sessions on Fridays from 3-7 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sundays from noon-6 p.m. local time, allowing for festive experiences throughout the holiday season.
As Spirit Christmas stores continue to draw in customers with their festive offerings, the retailer aims to capture the spirit of the holidays, providing a wide range of decorations, gifts, and experiences for families and shoppers alike. This expansion not only reflects the growing demand for seasonal retail experiences but also signifies a shift in how consumers engage with holiday traditions.
